Background
In this case study, we delve into our work with Warrington Borough in which we undertook a review of the culture of the integrated statutory Adult Social Care organisations within Warrington Borough Council, Warrington Hospital Trust and Bridgewater Services.
The purpose of our work was to understand whether the staff believed that the teams work together and if not, how can this be improved.
Trueman Change Involvement
Our primary objective was to meet with 7 key teams within the Adult Social Care team integrated service and ensured that we gave all employees a voice to share their thoughts on the service.
We collected data around:
- Sense of identity
- Staff perception
- Customers / Service Users
- Barriers
- Raising Concerns
- Leadership
Outcomes and Solutions
All information and staff feedback were gathered confidentially and shared with senior management. The findings were compiled into a report which included data, key themes and recommendations.
We compiled a report which highlighted the key themes and findings from our workshops with the teams.
Added Value
Ahead of our sessions we liaised with each team and asked their preference on how they would like the sessions to take place. This made staff feel like they were valued and included within the process.
We held additional sessions with staff who were unable to attend the initial consultation sessions. This ensured that all staff members were allowed to share their thoughts.
