Great communications are crucial for successful change programmes, and yet it is a resource which is often scarce in public sector organisations. That’s why we’re delighted to have Georgia Turner on board at Trueman Change, to support our clients with strategic change communications advice and support!
She has spent 25 years working on communications and engagement for high-profile projects, including regeneration schemes, behaviour change programmes, strategy developments and internal transformations. Her career highlight (so far) is leading the communications, stakeholder engagement and public affairs for the (successfully made) case for structural change to local government in Dorset, and the subsequent launch of one of the UK’s largest urban councils.
Practically, Georgia has led communications, consultation, research & engagement, campaigns, brand & creative, digital & web, and PR & media teams across the local government, so she understands their pressures, opportunities, complexities and frustrations of the sector well. She also has experience working within the NHS and higher education.
“We are thrilled to have Georgia on board. We’ve known each other for some time now, and I know that Georgia is a great fit in terms of her values and passion for supporting public sector clients to do change well and communicate with stakeholders. We often see that internal comms teams in our client organisations are stretched, which is why additional resource around the delivery of great comms is such a help!” - Lucy Trueman
